I'm 15 and have stretch marks on my hips, butt, and the tops of my thighs. They are lightly colored, but are still not very flattering. The stretch marks formed during growth spurts I believe, because I'm not fat. I'm open to any ways to get rid of these marks(cheaply). Please and thanks!

I got stretch marks way before having a baby when I was a teenager and I wasn't overweight either. To be honest, I don't think there's any way of 'getting rid of them'. They do fade a lot over time though. You could always try bio oil or palmers cocoa butter though to try and prevent any more xx

Don't think any more just visit any medical store where you can get anti aging cream which you can apply on it and easily it will be removed, and to get rid of permanent you need to drink plenty of water, drinking water much more help to remove these kind of marks permanently.

You can treat your stretchmarks at home by using natural products. You can use lemon juice to brighten your strech marks. Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps heal and reduce stretch marks, skin injuries, acne, and other scars. Rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch marks using circular motions. Allow the lemon juice to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

I am applying lemon juice. Anyway they don't go but I observed some improvement.

It is very difficult to get rid of stretch marks! but you are very young and have young skin. I do think you need to visit doctor. It is not normal thing if you have strech marks at 15 and you are not fat! Maybe your organism is lack of some minerals or vitamins and that is why your skin is not elastic enough. Any ways you need to moister it as much as possible! you need to buy special creams or find in the internet homemade cream recipes.

Ladies, there is nothing you can do against stretch marks. No matter who says what. If there was a product for that, it would be featured in a biology textbook. There are a few natural products that temporarily colour the skin, but they don't do anything. So, stop buying into the cosmetic propaganda. I've said the same to my wife after she had a baby. Stretch marks don't make you ugly in any way.

I think having stretch marks at fifteen is normal. I was never overweight and I developed them on the inside of my thighs and on the inside of my knees. I went from a beanpole with no shape to having hips and a waist which is why I got them. I know they aren't nice but they do fade and now I don't really notice them. Go see a doctor just to ensure all is well for your own piece of mind but they will stop occurring once you have developed completely. Please try not to worry or let it affect your confidence.

My legs are covered in stretch marks from recovering from anorexia and putting a lot of weight on. (I'm now upto a healthy weight). I hated them at first and would cry about them. Now, they're still red an noticeable but they are a sign of determination and courage. I beat something that kills soo many people. They're my trophies. They do fade over time but they're part of your journey. 99% if women have them so you're definitely not
Alone :) xx

I think there is not much you can do about it, just keep your skin hydrated. There are some special oils out there (bio-oil etc) which can improve the elasticity of the skin, but I'm not sure if it helps when the stretch marks are already there.

There is no proven way to get rid of stretch marks.

Try using aloe vera. I was having stretch marks and I used it. There was a great change.

Just moisturize and use bio oil products. You're still young so no need to be alarmed

Try aloe vera, it helped me to diminish the scar appearance. I have been using it for few months and I think if I keep on using it I think I could get rid of stretch mark

I think there's no product yet invented to remove stretchmarks totally but can only help improve or lighten it. Important thing to note is to always keep the skin moisturized. Lotions and natural oils like sun flower oil and virgin coconut oil can help.

Agree with pp's. I don't think there's any way to make them go away but I do think there are creams out there that may help lighten them in color. I've heard coconut oil is good for your skin in general. Maybe try that- plus it's all natural!

I think, stretch marks are not much of an issue these days because there are many whitening cream products that are prescribed by most skin specialists and this could help lighten the dark spots of the skin.
