she is sooooo clever for her age and shes doin things well in advance and stuff n she just amazes me all the time.
shes not yet 5 months and she can
*roll over onto her belly and back again
*roll twice, so she has moved a little
*lift her head off the floor
*plays with all her toys
*is really strong on her legs and hardly needs any support at all
and her new one
*SHE CAN SIT UP ON HER OWN :D

...however you then get the chilled babies that do nowt for ages then one day just do it all haha

I have one of those :D I wouldn't have it any other way. Although I'd be really proud if she could do alot of things, I'm just enjoying her being a baby..I know she will do it all one day :D
She sleeps through the night, that's all I care about at the moment...she's a superbaby to me, whatever she can/can't do :D

 nope Jack is certainly not super baby. Well he is to me though. He is only crawling over the last month and thats commando crawling not proper crawling. He only recently learned how to sit up from lying dwn. He's pulled himself up a couple of times but is not very steady on his feet. He didn't roll over for ages. Basically he is a very lazy baby in physical things but he's still clever in other things. He seems to understand a lot of the things I say and he can say a few words too. I'll always be proud of my beautiful son no matter how long it takes him to do stuff. I think all babies are amazing little things

ryan is a super chilled baby. he is really happy just to lay on his mat and play for hours! he only cries if he has colic or is hungry really otherwise hes pritty chilled out!! Everyone says hes just like me cos im almost horizontal lol he sleeps from 10.30pm-8.30am so im happy with that! he will do the rest when hes ready but he is very aware of everything around him and likes playing with his hands and can hold and play with toys but sometimes puts his hand to his face and doesnt realise hes holding a toy and hits himself lol

I think you either have an early talker or an early walker... Tia was an early walker... I have pictures of her at 4 months sitting, I have video footage (well my dad has) of her cruising the furniture at theirs at 6 months and by 9 months she was running round the house...

Lil miss is going to be a talker... she started saying mummum at 4 months and said it always to me, or to be passed to me... she now says papa to DH,....arrrt to the cat.... and eeeaaaaa to Tia.... so she has the fundamentals down... plus her signing has taken off which I'm dead chuffed about... she signs milk, more, no more, food, owie, cat, sister, mummy, papa, yes and no... I'll have to get it on film at some point...at the moment I am working hard in reinforcing the signs which means that she needs to get immediately what she asks for so she associates the sign with the object... I'm sure shes trying out others, but it can take time to identify them. On the other hand, she was never that fussed at rolling and only sits because she can play more easily... but her aim was never that... it has always been to talk and communicate with us...

What also fascinates me is how intently she investigates a toy or object... she does it much more intricately than Tia did... she picks things up, brings it up to her eyes, turns it over, changes it to the other hand, turns it around, shakes it to see if it makes noise, passes it back to her other hand, gives it another shake and after her half an hour examination, she pops it in her mouth for a final analysis...

Think she takes after me... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: my mum says shes a lot like me and I talked properly at 9 months, could hold full conversations by a year... mind my mum says I never did learn to shut up though :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

meheh.. dunno.. teds is pretty slow.. cant get over how much they are all growing up.. cant beleive these babies are talking already.. teds is trying to say hiya.. more or iyaaa or iiiyyyyyiii hes been trying for ages now. noone ever says mama to him.. so he will probably say charlotte before mama lol..

Jamesy will be an early talker. If you lay him down now and speak to him he will coo back. He watches my mouth so intently and tries to copy. He also talks to himself if you give him a mirror. The HV was amazed and said I obviously talk to him non-stop  He shuffles backwards along the floor now laying on his back and pushes himself along with his legs and lifts his bum off the floor - this is his new trick lol!!! He can also sit in his bumbo, I brought it for him to use later on but he holds his head so well so I put him in it and he loves it.

Lucy was an early talker but seemed to take forever to get crawling/walking. She was ususally too interested in chatting with me or if she wanted to get somewhere she would roll to it!

I wouldn't say she's a super baby but every so often she does things that takes us by surprise because she won't have shown any ability or inclination about something and then just do it.

Harry's almost sitting unaided now, he says no as well :rotfl: because we always say no when he wants to continuously stand and then about a week ago he started saying no :rotfl: :rotfl:

Alex is not a super baby he's a lazy bum lol - he can't crawl, can't stand, can't even properly roll over!
But he's awesome anyway :D

Lydia was always great at speaking.

Rolling over at about 4 months, cruising at 7, walking at 9 and a half...

Ryan's the doodest 8)

Im not sure with ky i think hes pretty average at learning new things. He took a while to learn to lift his head off the floor on his belly. lol he use to just suck the carpet  he can roll onto his front then has a paddy when he gets stuck! Hes brill at passing toys from hand to hand and inspecting them like squiglet said. hes just started saying daa daa daaa. hes not too hot at sitting up lol he can do it for a bit but looses interested at the slightest noise or anything that catches his eye and plummets to the floor like a falling tree!! ummm he poops and pukes like a champion does that count!

ah, by the age of 2 they are all mostly walking and talking. Like budge says everyone's baby is super.

Erm, well Imogen can say the a few words like mama, dada,up. Iknow she understands what i say to her, especially when i ay were going to get stephen from school - she gets very excited!

She rolls over with ease, has great co ordination, can crawl and can stand when holding my hand and is now trying to pull herself up by the toybox so he can stand

The fact that Evie came out with perfect little fingernails and perfect little toes amazes me... she'll be my super baby until she's 30! :D

Jacob is a super baby indeed...only 5 months and already a Beethoven in the making..... :rotfl:
