Hi ladies, just popping over from tri 2 after sorting through alot of clothes we have been given and the few bits we have brought already for Roo. What I wanted to know is how much of things do u actually need?

we have in newborn:
24 white vests
4 long sleeve vests
12 sleepsuits
2 outfits
3-4 of hats, scratch mittens, socks, booties
15 bibs

0-3 months:
20 white vests
13 boys vests
19 sleepsuits
4-5 outfits
1-2 of hats, mittens, socks, booties

Does this seem too much clothes? Or would it be OK to get a few more bits in blue/boys?
xxxx

Id say that's a lot more than enough, but my LO hadn't very sicky or leaky pooey at all!

I would say its probably enough, but not an excessive amount. If you wanted to buy more.

Xxx

I bought loads of outfits for my son but tbh he spent most of his first 3 months in sleepsuits, they are just easier and more practical imo. So I ended up with loads of outfits he hadn't worn.

This time I've bought a few nice outfits, but mostly sleepsuits, and not too many coz I don't knw how big/small she'll be and how quickly she'll grow so will just buy as I go this time.

We did use alot of mits and hats too, but only for the first couple of weeks really.

xxxx

i have triple that and i have been given loads of clothes all the way up to 6 months x

Thinking about it I'd jeep the tags on most of it so if it's not used you can swap the size. Especially the vests.

probably ok. We got loads of clothes bought for us when Holly was born and loads passed on to us so only had to get bits as we needed them.

Quite a lot of it is stuff we have been given second hand. I might get a few more blue bits but not loads an keep tags in just incase they don't get used. Thank u everyone xxx

 I was planning like 1/2 of that :faint: stressing now lol. Those babies do filthy they can be

I think you can get away with less. You can order next day delivery from places like next, so if you need more just order online.

Sounds perfect my baby is very sicky the more clothes and bibs the better. I sincerely regret buying newborn size though as even being born at 7lb he outgrew them by 5 weeks if not before.

Think it depends, this week G had loads of leaky nappies!! But normally she's pretty clean, but my friends LO was really sicky and changed like 4&5 times a day. I guess it's just luck of the draw. Xxx

I think that's a good amount. I would say you wouldn't need any more. Joshua is fast outgrowing clothes and I'm still finding stuff he hasn't even worn yet!xx

I think that's plenty! We bought so much for Caleb and he never wore any of it! He's 5 and a half months now and only just out of sleepsuits, he always hated wearing normal clothes! xx

Thank u so much ladies, I thought it sounded like more than enough! Just been given a load of 3-6 months stuff and tons and tons of 6-9 months :D so hopefully won't have to buy anything for a while :) xxx

still buy stuff even if its just one outfit i cant describe it but there are reasons for buyng one ask anyone x
