How long?

Just a query to see if anyone can help me?
As some of you may know, I had a laperoscopy and hysteroscopy with dye test about 10 days ago. This was to see what my tube etc were doing. They found a small amount of endometreosis but not much else.
I was in pain for a good week with it, so no BDing for me!! We have done it a few times (sorry if tmi) These were a bit sore but ok.
Then we did it again in a different position (sorry again ) and it hurt a bit, but afterwards I was in the most agony I've ever been in, ever. Couldn't move for 20 mins, and had to have several strong pain killers and a hot water bottle so I could eventually sleep.
Does anyone know how long you're supposed to leave it to BD after an op like that? Maybe I've rushed it, but I wanted to get back in the swing of it!!!
Any ideas would be gratefully received. I'm still in pain, and having cramps, but am at work so dosing myself up and having to get on with it!!!

You poor thing . Sorry i don't know how long to leave it, you could try phoning NHS direct because of the pain you are in. Hope you feel better very soon

Sorry to hear that you're in pain I reckon unless the doctor made a point of saying don't BD for a certain amount of time, it should be ok to 'go for it' as soon as you feel able. Maybe that sort of op affects different people different ways but I'd get it checked out if it's painful.

I had both them done seperately...After the hyasstosapliosampliogram, i bled for a few days and nearly got readdmitted and never tried for a couple of weeks as i felt rough. The laposcopy.I was told it should take a week to 10 days to get over the op.

i'd give yourself a week without any pressure then if you are still in pain see your doc

Thanks guys! I am still twinging a bit today. Think we're gonna leave it for a few days yet and try again in a lazy position. Think I was getting too ahead of myself!!!! Its not even been 2 weeks yet!!!
