Hi girls,
I'm wondering how long it took your body to recover from failed IVF?
I have pain near my cervix (they thought that was irritation from Cyclogest pessaries) and sharp pain on my left side and I am toasty warm all the time. My hands and feet are clammy which is what concerned my OH as I'm always freezing. I woke up in the night and my tshirt was soaked with sweat and I am still so bloated that I can't get my jeans on. Also my hair is still falling out as a result of the Stimms drugs. (I'm not going bald, but geez its loads when I wash or brush my hair.)
I went back to the clinic this morning for some tests to rule out any complications and the scan of my ovaries/ womb was fine. Waiting for blood and swab results in a few days to see if I have an infection but the doctor said that some people are just more sensitive to the drugs than others.
I knew the emotional sise was going to be a nightmare but I wasn't expecting to physically feel so battered.
Obviously we're all different but if you've been through this how long did it to feel physically normal again?
Thanks xx
