How long after a show

Well I had a sweep yest an I'm now having a bloody show so how long after did labour start for any of u iv had period pains but just wondered how long before labour now starts

I was having contractions and then had a bloody show. So I can't really answer your question. However when I did go to hospital I continued having it. I heard the mw saying to my mum during examinations that its normal to have lots of them and one before delivery too.

I had a show at 38 weeks within 24 hours I had given birth to my 4th son.
With my first 3 pregnancies I never had a show till I was in established labour.
