How Has Your Day Been?

Hello girlies!

Hasn't it been a gorgeous day today?!

I wondered what everyone had been up to today? Making the most of the ONE day of sunshine we've been forecast this week!?

I went for lunch with a friend then off to my dad's, it was lovely!! xx

I went shopping (unusual thing to do i know!!!) and bought a snuggly blue baby blanket, a little top that says 50% mummy 50% daddy, some bodysuits, a new maternity top for me and a new duvet cover for our bed! I could definately tell that its getting harder to walk around in the heat though i got so tired and even though im now forced to wear flat boots my feet still ached like hell! Imagine how we wil be in the full heat of summer when we're full term!!! XX

Oh hell yeah, tell me about it!! I dread it! Because of hormones I'm always sweating like a pig and overheating so lord knows how we'll get by come summer (if we bloody get one!!) xx

went to work 1-5 didnt do much because it was the assistant managers last day, so we sat in the office eating haribo! yum

bought some rimmel mouse blusher and an eyeliner to wear out tonight. Dean met me from work we walked back in the sun (not good in black jeans and a black work top!)

got in watched dr.who and then dean said he didnt wana go out!

so we have a pizza in the oven, apparently its too much hassel getting a taxi there and a taxi back and a waste of money. he said next week we can go (hopefully he will be borrowing his brothers car)

im all snuggled up in my Pjs ready for a night of scoffing and tv watching, i love cosy nights in! who wants to pretend to be sophisticated in a resturant anway.....

I love cosy nights in too!! Mum's watching somehting on TV but as soon as she gets up for a wee (I think she's due one soon lol) I'll be changing over to Britain's Got Talent!!

Proper full on shopping, got my outfit for my sisters wedding which is next week. I originally had a lovely prom dress but Hubby was actually vocal about it not looking good, so it HAD to be bad! Got my loooverrrly friend to trawl round the shops for hours being very very helpful (think trinny and suzahnnah honesty) and I have a lush dress and shoes now

Ate way too much but needed lots of coffee breaks we shopped so Hard!

Also managed to pick up a bargin changing mat with inflatable sides and a beautiful funky holdall I plan to use as a nappy bag from paperchase so all in all a good day

Got to be up at 4am to take my step dad to the airport so early night for me!!

ah were watching Britians Got Tallent!

no we didnt get to go , dean was getting his hair done this morning and picking up a 3 meter by 3 meter banner for footie tomorow, his teams in the final. my dad said he wants him to go to finantial advice or CAB so were definatly going to go.

We had a gardening day, didnt want to push our luck that there would be another day we could garden in the dry and time soon, then we had a picnic on our freshly mown grass YAY for 14 whole hours of sunshine

it was such a beautiful day today! im glad people made the most of it. i did think ohh this time next year we will be taking Sophie out to enjoy t he sunshine!

I got a haircut & went shopping. Bought a few bits for the nursery - nothing I needed, just stuff to make it look pretty. Some cushions & a throw for the rocking chair, a picture and some brightly coloured wooden toys.

Then I went to see my FIL and sat in his garden eating cream eclairs. mmm.

When I got back I did a bit of cleaning and some laundry then chatted to a friend on facebook for a while.

I sky plussed Doctor Who for my OH and - as I got sidetracked earlier - am just about to watch it.

I've been struck down with hayfever So spent most of the morning sneezing. Then the rest of the day I browsed baby stuff online before going out to walk the dog and buy Sparkle Lemonade lollies from Tesco

We've just had pesto sauce meal (mmmm) and OH is snoring on the sofa

Glad everyone else has had a lovely day in the sunshine

Aramintalovegrove - Oooh you can feel all lovely and dolled up next week then! Shame about the early morning you have tomorrow Hope you can get back to sleep afterwards!

Miss.Monroe - There's lots of time anyway and it's good to write down a lot of questions first as they're like God, they have the answers for everything lol!

Scatterpatch - I loved watching my Dad gardening when I was younger and did again today! I sat on his grass and ate an ice cream, I felt so secure and like a little girl again. He built a pond so I helped him fill it! I love gardens in the sunshine!

Siany - We have a lovely park in Bedford with a river and ducks and things... I bet you had a lovely time!

Tadpole - Bet your nursery looks lovely! I hadn't even thought about all that stuff I can't wait to go buying things like that! Hope you're enjoying your new hair and feeling all glammed up and "different"

Mildly - Oh no you poor thing Hope you're feeling better now. Ice lollies!!! Our shop ran out of them, damn kids I wanted one! I had to settle for an ice cream, they're not as nice in the sunshine Sounds like the weather has worn your OH out!

Hope you enjoyed the sunshine! I went for a loooooooong walk around town and bought 2 pairs of summer shoes Am now eating fajitas, but gave up after two cos they're too spicy! Am now watching Brokeback Mountain and sipping a decaf coffee!

Bubs has been quiet today though Not felt them much...hope you're okay in there Little One!

Oooh I need to go shoe shopping for myself at some point, I need some pretty sandals!!

I'm sure he/she is just chilaxing like the rest of us! Probably nackered in there and sweltering from the heat!

LOL I have AWFUL wind at the moment so anything spicy just adds to it. I don't think my Mum would appreciate it as she has to endure it every evening as it is! xx

^^ Oh god, I know about wind, believe me! I tried to use my doppler earlier and all I could hear was the wind in my stomach

I bought some nice sandal-y shoes from new look, they have some nice flat strappies at the moment which are very pretty and look good with jeans of skirts. They're like wedge shoes but without the wedge, if that makes sense! I also got a pair of flip-floppy things from Tesco's of all places! They're just slip on type things with a thick strap that goes over your foot (but your toes aren't covered) and they are black and sequinny material. I am not too good at describing things!

Brokeback Mountain is a bit odd, think OH is freaked out by the gay aspect of it But I heard it was a good film!!!

I had to work today, but thankfully only 11-3. Wasnt too bad and the time passed pretty quickly. Rushed home so I could go and pick up a crib for the baby that I bought off ebay. It was a bargain and is beautiful, Im so pleased with it! Finally got home about 5 o clock this evening then my OH announced that we were going out for a meal with his family to celebrate his mums 60th birthday, hmmm thanks for telling me earlier! Ddint mind but would have been nice if he had told me earlier in the day then I would have got home earlier to have more time to get ready. As it was, just got changed really quickly and scrubbed up a little then dashed out to the Indian. Only just got home, but it was lovely! Feel really stuffed now and so regretting eating that last bit of naan bread!!

I went clothes shopping with my sister in law and neice. i bought my first maternity top! its from new look and makes me look REALLY pregnant! and its pink, can't get better than that! my neice is being christened next sunday and me n oh are her god parents so i thought i should find something nice and respectable to wear lol it was great being out in the sun. had pasta with tomatoe and veg sauce for dinner and apple crumble for afters yum! then we scoffed sweets whilst watching britains got talent. I loved the little boy who was on first, the one the judges told to come back and do stand up, i thought he was brilliant and so confident!
good to hear everyone had a good day out in the sun, lets hope we get lots more and i'm glad i'm not the only one who stayed in on a saturday night lol
