Some of you may or may not remember that I used to have a doberman and we rehomed him due to his dislike of small things (my daughter being one of them). I got a phone call last night to say he had been found in a park in Central London tied to railings  The person who left him there put the name tag I bought him back on him with my phone number on it so thats why I got called. Hubby and I drove down to London last night to pick him up and were greeted with a big hug from him (which resulted in a burst lip for me  ) Anyway, I contacted the woman I gave him to and she said she had rehomed him to a couple of lads :shakehead: They obviously couldnt handle him and just left him in the park :(
He is now staying at a friends house and waiting to go to his new home. He is going to live with the breeders brother who recently lost their beloved doberman so are keen on having another one :D
I just cant understand why anyone would leave a dog tied up in a park and just walk away

That is sooo awful! Poor poor doggy!!!

Some people are just totally heartless and stupid! Glad you got him and have found somewhere lovely for him to go!!!

Hope your lip feels better soon

xxx

that's so cruel.

but i am glad they left your number on his collar.

how sad :(

You are having the worst luck with dogs lately arent you hun, poor doggy that is so cruel leaving him tied up there like that! small mercy that they put his old tag on!!

Aww thats just terrible the poor dog but thankfully it is ok and not hurt in any other way.

Thats absolutely disgusting, and that bloody woman should have contacted you before pawning him off on some little shits !
Gld to hear youve managed to find him a lovely ever after home !

The breeders brother has decided they dont want another dog for a while so we are again looking for a suitable home. The breeder has a couple of people she knows interested so will see what comes of that otherwise Leon will have to go to Doberman rescue :(

What a horrible thing to do :( it makes me so angry when people mistreat animals.

I hope he gets a nice home soon

That's so awful! I don't know how people can do that!

I spoke to my neighbours earlier. My dog is a bit of a monkey and the wind blew our fence down and she escaped. They asked if i found her (which i did) coz they heard a group of lads in a nearby village threw a dog like mine out of a moving car!!! It's spine was so badly damaged that he had to be put down!!! They were concerned it was my dog and i didn't know! I almost burst into tears!

People are so incredibly cruel!

OMG what is wrong with some people!! :(

Some people make me so mad

Maybe they should be chained up in a park to see how they like it!!!

You know i really think it should be a form on punishment! Do to them what they did to the animal!!! I truely think some people deserve it!

Good news! Leon is staying put for the foreseeable future with a view to make it permanent (at a friends house round the corner). He has lived there in the past and is very happy there :cheer:

Im so pleased this has a happy ending.
It is a sad fact that there is not enough room for all the dogs being bred, unfortunately sometimes there are genuine reasons people cant keep dogs but there is no room in the shelters for them so they get dumped, its not right i knowbut then if they were taken to be pts that would be wrong too so maybe somebody could tell us where these dogs should go.

By the way i am in no way saying what happened with your poor dog is right as they could have at least contacted you but just saying there are genuine cases where desperate people dump dogs.

Awww the poor dog  ,
what a pair of morons whoever left him
I hate cruelty to animals and would willingly tie the morons up to a fence and leave them there myself to see how they like it.
