How big is your bump??

i am only asking becuase i thought i was probably quite small for how far gone i am - 30 weeks today!!

but EVERYONE seems to think i am really big and cant believe it when i tell them im not due until Oct 23rd!! They all seem to think i am due around now - if they think this now, at 30 weeks, what the heck am i gonna be like in a few more weeks??

i think your bumpage is average.. its nice and round and neat...

people which generally say things like...(you look due etc...) dont see pregnant women often, or havent had children...

also depends on time of day etc...

they both look great. lovely bumps!!! Everyone is different. I also think that some people forget what they were like when pregnant. I get the opposite (Are you SURE your not having twins?? )arghhh!!!

Hi Leanne.. I'm 29 weeks today and your 29week bump picture looks exactley like my bump - had me midwife appt yesterday and me fundal height was bang on average so I guess our bumps are average sized

It's really hard to judge from one angle because you might look bigger in real life but I think you're a pretty good size!! It's so difficult to judge... HideiLu's bump wasn't huge and yet she popped out a baby weighing 9lb 14oz!!

I reckon yours looks spot on, it definitely isn't small. People always say mine is huge but it's not, I just have a short torso so it looks bigger. Baby isn't measuring something ridiculous or anything!! And anyway, I swear she has a huge arse because my bump sticks out. I don't actually LIKE my bump. I think it's a wierd shape and sticks out too far. I also think I'm carrying round the sides a bit too... Oh my god I'm using your thread to moan about my bump! lol

Plus, you're petite anyway so you'll probably look bigger than the next person because you're slim xx

I dont think mine is too big, atm im measuring weeks under, but then with Jack i was measuring 1 week under and he was 8ib 12 so i dont think it shows how big the babies going to be as such. but i agree i think its the people who havent had babies or at least havent for a very long time think youre ready to pop etc . I think you're bump looks about right for your dates.

Its your fundel height that sort of matters not the size of your bump, line a bunch of women up who are all due the same day and there will be a massive difference.

People also forget that october is just round the corner, sounds ages away until you break it down into weeks/days

There's an article on something similar to this in this months P&B mag..... they've taken a bunch of women who are all 25 weeks and they all have different size bumps. One is masive whereas another you can hardly tell at all!! My cousin has just had her 3rd baby and although her other two were over 8lb's each she had a much bigger bump this time and the baby was only 6lb when he arrived!!

I'm due two days before you and at my last measurement I was measuring 3 weeks ahead. I would say that my bump is a bit bigger than yours at the minute but I'm probably fatter so that will explain it
