How are all you new mummies doing?

Lol toria! I'm on the beer, been stressing about this bed we're buying all week. It's upholstered and huge so trying not to get a colour that will look too dark and it's literally tipped me over

We've needed a new bed for a few years. It's such a hard decision because you can't test drive it.lol

Yep! Just worried cause is so bloody expensive as well. Once we've bought it we won't be able to replace it for a number of years. I'm fed up with our old bed as it's an ikea one as the mattress doesn't fit properly and I keep knocking my legs on the corners

I'm sat cuddling a 4 week old !!

Mummy is at the theatre so dads armed with expressed BM - just fed and burped him so he's now having a sleep on me!

You forget how irregular a newborns breathing is!!! And he's got 1 eye open lol

Awwww Bex. One of the mums turned up at school yesterday with her 4 week old. So tiny and sooo cute! He was happy to be passed around too. Emma was never like that.

Yes he seems fine! Apparently he haddnt slept all day so must have been the female touch :)

Bloody raging!! Have been shattered all week and finally get an early night tonight, fall into a lovely deep sleep... And get woken up by hubby doing the toilet with the effing door open, waking me and stirring S!!! Now he's stormed off to the spare room and I'm lying awake fizzing! Men!!! :wall:

Ugh, I'd be raging too. Hate that!!

Feeling broody just thinking about a 4 week old!

Jen I would have killed him. Aw that's lovely Bex. Bless you Kathryn I don't think anything will make me broody. I love Joseph to bits but have no desire to have another. Well Joseph has decided that 4am is play time tonight so we are downstairs hoping he is going to tire himself out so we can go back to bed. It's not like him but he wouldn't take his midnight bottle so I knew we were in for in. x

I find it hard to think about babies at the moment. My emotions are all over the place on hat subject righty now

I bet jojo!

Hubby went out this morning first thing to meet an old workmate so not seen him. Instead I have the ultimate revenge/making up for it. My friend has a charity lunch that he pal cancelled on her for so I'm going Instead :-) sounds terrible but can't wait for time to myself, some girls chat and there's even some champagne there!!! ;-)

Awww that's rubbish Jen! Least you're getting out to enjoy yourself and enjoy the champagne!! :D

No he doesn't back pay child maintenance. On the first of october he'll make his first payment in 12 weeks of separation for £130. Not like that's really gonna help. I'm just sitting waiting on Hayley coming home, im missing her - but i had a good night out - feeling pretty tired and slightly delicate this morning though lol

Bless you jojo bet they are.

Jen I wud b so mad too, I am glad u get to go n have fun tho.

We r off swimming again with the in laws n my sis Harry's guna love it.

Michelle.x

Jojo, could you go stay with your mum till Mark gets back?

My oh has peed me off too. Cancelled his night out last night that I didn't even know he had organised. But was no help at all as he was dying from his cold. He's woken up this morning still whinging, but then still packed himself up and gone off to play rugby!

We've got a friends baby's first birthday later, and get he'll be fine and drinking by then!

Mark gets back at about 7 today. I'm leaving Luke up until he gets home. Been out for lunch and I'm at my mums... Im about to go home

Bed is bought, we're now looking at a tv to hang on the wall as some wallpaper and curtains and then jobs a goodun. I'll sell our old bed frame and we're going to paint our existing bedside tables.

Will be nice to have it finished, we lived for two years without doing anything to it and we had chipboard down on the ensuite floor for the first 6 months, only just sorted that out

Thanks guys, was a great day. It was for the charity 'mums' don't know if you have the 'mums recipe' books in England. It's run by a midwife here to help woman in Malawi give birth in better conditions and help with bf afterwards. Some of the stories were heart wrenching! We can all find fault in our births here but what these woman go through is horrific. Such a good charity!

Hope your hubby is better toria, if only for your sanity!

Oooh send pics of room when it's done pumpkin! :-)

Hope everyone has enjoyed there Sundays and Harry had fun at swimming

We're getting a new telly :)

Putting the one from Living room into the
Bedroom and getting a new hd smart TV in the living room

Just like I thought earlier. Went to the party, Chris was fine drinking and laughing. Get home at 4 and he's dying again and on the couch with his feet up. Don't want him giving Emma his cold though, so back to all the feeding and cooking myself.

Everyone's on sprees. Yay, new stuff :-)
