Thanks ladies! Dry shampoo great idea!! I was wondering about towels and whether they provide them. Hmm. Maybe take one just in case!

They probably do provide them, but I'd take my own.. Don't know who's bums been wiped on the hospital ones!

Me personally, i'd be putting some cleaning stuff on the list. At least some dettol in case i want a bath... I'd probably take my own pillow case too lol Maybe your own towel?

I'd just have one set of clothing for me and a set for baby and the hospital will have everything else like nappies.

They'll provide you with a gown and slippers don't forget

Oh, maybe some dextrose tablets and electrolyte drinks for energy and hydration without eating/drinking too much.

I'd just send OH for anything else if you find out you need to stay longer than intended

I'm debating whether to take my own ball as I know they have them there, but then you think of all the foofs that have sat on them lol. But then if I start to think like that, I'll not want to use anything iykwim! Argh, less thinking more packing!

More knickers! I took 7 in and made OH bring me 2 more packs as my waters leaked and I bled! A couple more outfits for baby as they get amazingly dirty lol!

I'm gonna be taking my ball with me. Even though the lady who took the antenatal class last week with me said that I probably won't need it as the hospital has quite a few, I'm still defo taking my own. I'd hate to get there to then be told 'Oh we don't have any balls, sorry'.

Leaving it to OH to deflate and redo it when the time comes

Thanks hun. Fair point! We're 8-9 mins away from hospital (quite sad, I've timed it twice on car timer - not bad though eh?), so will leave and if none get OH to go back home pronto! Lol.xx

yeah u want shampoo cos mw told me theey have to see you are able to have a shower n all after, was also told to take 2 dark towels

also id take more than 10 mat pads cos my pack says u use 24 a day the first day

Just thinking if your planning on going in same clothes that your coming out in what if your waters are break on the way in will it not make your bottoms a little bit minging? Just a thought Hun xx

Deffo more baby clothes! Is go for at least 5/6 vests and 5/6 baby grows! My LO raced through them hun. Also, more knickers and more maternity pads xxx
