Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone can help me with highchair. we have been using a bumbo (but after my post on bumbo + big baby)... i defo need to get a highchair.
my problem is we are currently in a 1 bedroom maisonett. we have a little kitchen. also cant fit in a dinning room table and chairs at the moment,
i would really like a highchair for theo, where the height can be adjusted so that it can be fairly low to the ground so i could sit on the sofa and feed him.
- but also so what when we move and get a dinner table, it can be made higher so he can eat with us

can anyone recomend one???

thank you

Hi

We have this one

It isn't adjustable but seems to be at a decent hight for sofa/table feeding. (tbh I mostly sit at the couch and feed Baillie so we can both watch the telly!)

It's pretty good - and it converts into a table and chair for when LO is older

Well I have the Ikea Antilop high chair... its not height adjustable... But I can feed from the sofa and from the table. I can pull the legs off and transport it and best of all it has to be the most hygienic, easy to clean high chair ever. :) :cheer: And anyone with a baby who feeds themselves knows how desperately important that is :rotfl:

I did have one of those sit up and do everything for you high chairs (folded up, padded, adjustable, movable tray yada yada yada), but it took up far more space than the IKEA one, heavy to move, it was the most difficult thing in the world to clean, infact it was impossible to clean completely unless you took it outside and doused it with a hose, which living in an apartment was impossible. I just think that those high chairs were a con :shakehead:

We got the ikea one as we are doing BLW and this is by far the easiest we could find for cleaning - no nooks and crannies or stitched bits to get food in. She is at table height but we can also feed her while sitting on the sofa.

It doesn't fold, though for transporting the legs are easy to remove (in a safe way, they don't fall off!)

It was £10 I think, plus £3 for the tray plus £3 for the inflatable cushion for the seat.

We haven't got one yet but will be going for the Ikea antilop too, the are only £10 like Kalia said and the reviews I have found online are amazing. The legs come off easily so it can be put away if need be.

I'm just waiting for OH to bloody take me to Ikea to get one. Men!!!!!
