I had my 20 week scan this morning, and the uterine artery Doppler measurement showed high resistance? She's given me a leaflet which explains there's a higher risk of pre-eclampsia or baby not growing properly. I'm seeing the consultant on 13th Sept, but don't see my midwife I until 28 weeks. I've been booked in for extra scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks.

Does anyone have any experience of this? I am really nervous that's something is going to go wrong :(

It can signify it, but doesn’t necessarily mean it will happen. If there is resistance in the flow it can force your blood pressure up and affect the efficiency of the placenta. They’ve been really vigilant though, if your BP creeps up there are medications to try to control it  x
