Hi everyone

im new to this tonite.....

i am a mummy to a beautiful boy ages 2years 5mnths.

we have been trying to concieve a wee bro r sis 4 11months now with no joy...

i havnt had a period after stoping my birth control 1 year ago.... went to the doc and she pretty much was very patronising saying ''as im only 22 i shouldnt be worrying bout having baby no2'' not helpful at all........

ne words of wisdom or just a chat would be very much appreciated!!!!!

Welcome to pregnancy forum! I'd try seeing another doctor - I can't believe she was so unhelpful! Not having periods for a year after stopping birth control is surely worth her looking into whether you're TTC or not

thanks very much..... i think i will!!!!! she offered no advise and said after concieving once that i could obviously concieve.... but after reading about secondary infertality it is really starting to get me down not knowing were i stand....

Hello! Your doctor's being a total I had problems after coming off the Depo a good few years ago and didn't bother doing anything about it (wasn't TTC, just nothing happened) and my doctor at the time was a bit that it took me 9 months to say "errrm...what's going on?" and put me on some kick-starting hormones (but that's another story)

Change your doctor. And keep changing until you find one you like and listens to you!

thank u`s all very much for advise. its so good to be able to talk to people in the same boat....

i defo will, without having a periods i dont no weither we have eventually concieved or just still not menstrating.

and fell guilty that because r 1st son wasnt planned and took us a while to get used to the idea

and now we r praying and trying everynite..... for another baby.... and nufins happein....

god works in funny ways....

Sorry to hear you have been messed about. Birth control can take some time to come out your system and it may take some time for your body to get back to normal. When I came off the BCP I had no period or anything for 2 years...I then fell pregnant much to my unexpected surprise....Give it time hun, Im sure it will happen Good luck x x x

hey folks sori havnt been on....

was took into hosp yday with severe pelvic pain......

had pelvic scan all seemed ok...... no cysts r anything.. overies and everything was fine....

changed doc app next week, hopfully something to get my periods started as baby dancing seems pritty pointless as the minute......
