So I had a period on the 3rd of August till the 8th. Had sex on the 18th Aug round about ovulation time with no condom. Due on the 1st September but period didn't show up. Took loads of tests all come back really really paint positives. Went for a scan on the 23rd September but they say they couldn't see nothing but I'm sure I can..will upload a picture with the scan they took. Had negative blood test that day to and negative test. So confused. Just missed this month's period too by about 3 4 days now. Still negative tests. I don't get it.

I'm sorry but if they didn't see anything on the scan at what would have been approx 7 weeks then you're not pregnant, they are the experts. Also a blood test would be accurate.

I was sure I was pregnant and went for a scan and couldn't believe it when they said there was nothing there. I was devastated . I agree with Syd - a scan is pretty definitive. Has a specialist looked at the scan? Cos sometimes it's just the technicians. I hope they are looking into why your period hasn't showed too. Hugs x

A 40 year old friend of mine who was pregnant, went in for a scan but they saw nothing. They only saw an empty sack. They told her she needed to have it removed. She went in the following week. While they were prepping the OR, they gyno did a last scan before going in. They heard a heart beat!! Apparently it sometimes happens that the mother want to protect the baby so badly that she hides it unconsciously. She gave birth to a baby girl 8 months later.
Strange things can sometimes happen! ;)

Kitana, what you describe happens fairly often, I'm just recovering from a blighted ovum and miscarriage at 8 weeks, I spent almost 3 weeks praying the empty sac would turn into a healthy baby. If they saw an empty sac with the op then that could well be the case but I understood from her message she meant they saw literally nothing.

Oh I reread it and I think you're right Syd... Negative echo and negative blood test...
