I've been doing baby led breastfeeding since Elaras birth 4 weeks ago and I would now like to start formula feeding.

The thing is I'm clueless as to how much I'm supposed to feed her? When I'm supposed to feed her? Should I have a set time when she gets fed? Make the bottle up when she's hungry?
She's a greedy baby and can drink 150ml (5oz) easy. But I don't know if it will be the same with formula feeding.
Is there too much she can have in one day?

I'd really like as much help and advice as possible before I start.

hi hun, there are guidelines on the tin. i think they are roughly the same. mine is....
birth-2 weeks 30oz, 3 ounce waters and 3 scoops formula.
2-4 weeks-4oz, 4 ounce water and 4 scoops formula.
4-8 weeks 4oz.
2months 5oz.
3 months-4 months 6oz.
6 months 8oz and 7 months-a year 7oz as baby would be on solids then.
you dont have to follow it to the letter asyour baby could be more hungry but breast milk is alot thinner than formula so whereas your baby drinks 5oz from booby chances are she will
take less formula than that to start with. You up it as you see fit. My daughter is 9 weeks and was very small born, i have only just upped her to 5 ounces a feed. every baby is different. Hope this helps somexxx
