Help with appointment please

When do you usually have the next appointment with midwife after twelve week scan? I have what she told me x

My midwife told me 16 weeks today and if my dates change by the scan- to go by their dates rather than previous dates etc

Yup 16 weeks and then the next one after that is normally around 25 weeks x

She explained between 18 25 is when you learn your babies movement patterns- and between those times of anything concerns you call the numbers

I guess the further along the preg the more care you need?

She wrote the appointment in my green notes I will be 16 weeks .

yeah 16 weeks, they should write every next app down in your green book in ya nhs folder at the back page. and no ya dont see the midwife a lot at all until the last few weeks and even then its just every two weeks 16 week app is awesome tho ya get to hear babys heartbeat and every app after that too xx

I've had my booking appointment yes she just said you need to come back after August 25th confused it's not written down anywhere x

12wks - dating scan/combined screening
16wks - midwife to discuss bloods. Bp, urine screen, discuss anomaly scan, listen to heartbeat
20wks - anomaly scan
25wls - bp and urine check. growth charting
28wks - same as above
31wks - same
34wks - birth planning
36wks - same, discuss vit K, birth plan, postnatal care, baby blues awareness,
38wks - same and to arrange sweep
40wks - same - offer sweep
41wks - same and offer induction

tell ya what some midwifes are bloody brilliant and others useless! mine is useless by the way lol i didnt have this pregnancy care plan some girls are talkin about but they should write down every next app every time you see her so tell her when ya next go to write it ya down, thats how i knew whenever i was next goin xx

dont be worried sophie just contact your midwife or doctors (if thats where you see your midwife like i do) and ask them when your next app will be x
