    Hi

im currently 15 weeks pregnant today, and am so scared, im a big girl as it is so have not felt the bump grow as of yet and do not feel pregnant to be honest, im so scared that the baby has died and is still inside me, i cant get the feeling out of my head that it is not growing anymore and that something is wrong

I have a freind who is the same stage as me at present and she has a nicley formed bump and is all proud and loving it, im just so scared that its not there anymore and i dont know how to tell if it is, i know that i might bleed if i mis cary but what if its jsut died and is not letting go.....im so scared. I have recently just changed doctors so have never met my doctor before and have just (three days ago) had my first midwife appointment, i know nothing about anything or how im supposed ot be feeling

I dont want to loose my baby and i cant afford to keep buying 6 pregnancy test kits a week to just make sure

    Please help me someone!

If I were you i'd go and see your GP and tell him your upset about your fears. They will send you down for a scan to see if everything is okay.

At 19 weeks, i'd been feeling movement every day for a fortnight and then one day I felt nothing. Next morning still nothing, so i felt paranoid that something had happened to the baby. I went to the dorcors that morning, crying and they sent me for a scan straight away.

They were really really good about it and didn't make me feel like i was wasting anyone's time or anything.

It's better to take time to get it checked than to sit around feeling stressed about it.

As for the bump, different people grow at different rates. A friend of mine never grew out of her size 10 jeans throughout her whole pregnancy and gave birth to an 8lb baby.

Good luck in getting it checked. Don't feel guilty at all about getting a non-routine scan. You and your baby are very important and the doctors will take you seriously.
