Hello ladies,
Please please give me some advice I'm going crazy (( came back home today after my 16w5d ultrasound. I'm having a little girl!!!! But unfortunately my amnio and chorion membranes that suppose to fuse before 16 weeks are not fused!!!! I did blood test for Down syndrome and results suppose to come in about 10days. My dr said that it's only 5% of chance of having it without fused membranes. I'm 25 years old and have no abnormalities in a family history neither does my husband. Why is this happening ?? I did blood work for chromosomal abnormalities at 12 weeks and it came back negative. Can it still be that my baby girl will be perfectly healthy?? I can't stop crying and stressing myself out 😭😭😭 does anyone had something similar ?? Can my membranes still fuse ?? Any answer would be appreciated.
