the past 3 weeks i cannot sleep at all, its really getting to me, even during the day i cant sleep, im about to explode, im tearful and grumpy and its if my fiance doesnt understand, he's feelin sorry for himself cause i sent him a bit of a nasty text, zero tolerance as usual, im only just over 28 weeks, will it be like this until i have the baby? i cudnt sleep the last few weeks with my first pregnancy but this has started way to early..

I went through a stage at the same weeks that you are! Maybe baby is growing particularly and that makes it harder for us somehow? I don't really know though!

If that is the case then you might be reassured to know that recently i've been sleeping a lot better, i made it a whole night the other night without even needing a loo trip!

I know how hard it is hun, especially when you so desperately want to sleep but can't, i hope it gets better for you

     aww hun, Is there anything in particular keeping you awake? pain? are you worried about something? I would be tempted to have a word with your midwife in case she has any advice. It's far too early on to be getting sleep deprived.

Most men seem rubbish at understanding what we go through during pregnancy, mine seems to think I'm just being lazy!

There's nothing worse than insomnia :( I heard somewhere that counting slowly back from 300 helps to get people to fall asleep? Or imagining redecorating each room in your house. I treid the 300 thing, didnt work for me, but i was suffering with contractions at the time, so at each point i was about to drop of, another wave of pain woke me up.

  Hugs, as I know how horrible it is being sleep deprived, I had 3hrs last night, I'm like a walking zombie today. :bored:

im not worried about anything at all, thats why im wondering why i cant sleep.. i will say to my midwife but shes not very interested, hope this passes..

  I know what that feels like. Its my heartburn that keeps me up! Have you tried doing some reading before bed or going for a soak in the bath? I find it easier to sleep when I am relaxed. Sorry I can't offer any better advice hun xx

I had this a few weeks ago and it drove me mental.

Have you tried a mug of warm milk? Or Horlicks they usually work for me.
