hearing heartbeat???

Hi,

I just wondered if you can here your babys heartbeat at the 12 wek scan or is it just the water moving around you can hear??

I asked if I could hear the heartbeat at the scan but she said they don't listen to it was really disapointed! You can hear the babies heartbeat on a Doppler at 12 weeks though! Hope your scan goes well, it's so exciting x x

When I was expecting my son they never had any sound on during the scans so I'm not sure they normally do that.

I heard the heartbeat at my 12 week scan, im guessing it depends what hospital you goto ?

I think it depends on the hospital hun, I dont really remember if they listened to it when i was pregnnt with alfie bad mommy award to me

I think it depends on the hospital, with my ds I only ever heard it at Midwife apointments, but I had an early scan last week (8wks+2) and they let me listen to it then xx
