Hi all

What do health visitors do on there first vist?

If its before you have lo its a chat to say hi really, after you had lo its to check you and baby are well feeding is going well etc. They ate not there to judge your house or parenting intact my hv said if someone has an immaculate house and a newborn its more concerning. They will also answer any questions you have about baby

My health visitor I meet before little one was born to say hi and then after little one was born to see how we where both getting on x

Should be any day now, in my area it is policy to offer the first visit at between 10 and 14 days postnatal. If you dont hear, give your GP a ring and they should be able to put you in touch with them
