Hey there, Hoped someone could help me. I attend the hospital for my midwifes appointments and I had one today at 36 +2. Midwide and a student doctor were both there and both said yeah the baby's head is engaged. And yes, that was it. Ok engaged is a good thing i am guessing but how far engaged and didnt hear anything about 3/5's or anything other but she only felt my tummy??? Maybe I am just getting anxious cause I am close to the edge but hate not knowing what it means lol Hope all is well! Vicki x
I think that once they say engaged that means as far as its gonna go before labour, all the 3/5ths and other numbers indicate how close to full engagement it is! I am hopefully going to uni to study midwifery in sept so have been doing LOTS of reading lol!
