Well after a very successful holiday with Harry sleeping 5 nights in a row for between 6 to 7.5 hours in one go at night, we've decided to put him in his cot at home after a crap night last night back at home.

I knew he'd not sleep as good last night back in his crib as i think he's liked the space of the travel cot so he can wave his arms about.

Last night he just went back to how he was before, which wasn't bad but after 5 nights of good sleep it felt horrible

so we've moved his cot ino our room so hopefully he'll sleep good

he should do as he's hardly slept today as we've been out at an NCT meet up so hes knackered

its taken a few attempts to get him to sleep (i started this topic nearly an hour ago) but he's finally asleep

Fingers and toes now crossed that my boy sleeps :nap:

Like I said before, it's revolutionised our nights! But in fairness I also think that's because we are in different rooms as well - we don't spend the whole night waking eachother up now!! FX it goes really well and he likes his new bed. x

we were supposed to be putting her in her cot tonight but it all went pete tong and we never got chance to sort sensor pad out on the monitor!! will try and sort it tomorrow cos she is getting too big for her basket x

aww fingers crossed for you! I have just realised is this what fx means? lol how long have i been here?

Really though hun hope it all goes well!

:love:Thanks all....sat downstairs now watching him fast asleep on the monitor and i can hear him snore!!

aww he looks comfy. fx for you hun, if it dosent work you will just have to move here

Awww cute.
Hope he sleeps for you

Aww he looks so sweet bless him!! He's out for the count :) xx

Well not the nights sleep I was hoping for

He woke at 1.30 (so he did 4 hours) but them didn't get him bank down til gone 2 and he slept til 5 then he only managed just over an hour til 6.30

Hubby got up with him then to giver a break and he did fall back to sleep

I know I shouldn't be upset but he did so well last week and I thought cos he was so tired he'd sleep.

Oh well onwards and upwards

Maybe he just needs a night to get used to it.

Xxxxx

As Tor says maybe he just needs a night or two xxxxxxx

Savannah took a long time to get used to her cot. She was used to a travel one too as we used it at a relatives.

Is say it was a good three or four nights before she got used to her own cot

Ok I won't lose all hope

The upside of today is hubby brought Harry back up at half 8 and we've only just woke up!!

Could be the different mattress? Glad you got a lie in though!!
