Hair dye?

I’m really needing to dye my hair but I’m worried about doing it!? Is it definitely ok? My roots are getting bad but I’ve been holding off as I’m scared about miscarriage I’m 9+4 x

Hello, I dyed my hair in my last two pregnancies and didn't have any issues. I did wait til after the 12 week mark though x

I dyed my hair throughout ivf treatment and all through pregnancy every 3 weeks all was fine xx

I get my hair dyed at the hairdressers. Even though I've had the same colour for years, the hairdresser had me do a patch test when I was pregnant because your skin sensitivity can change. So it is safe, but do patch test first x

I dyed my hair during both pregnancies, never had a problem. Avoid ammonia based ones though.x

I'm a hair stylist and its fine to colour your hair but I would recommend repatch testing as the hormones can have an effect on the colour and your reaction to it

I avoid hair dye in tri 1 but after that I’ve done full scalp bleaches etc. x
