I'm 13 weeks and booked for hair colouring on Saturday.
I did research and found that it won't harm baby but I still feel guilty to do that.

It's completely safe for baby, don't worry.

There can be a risk that your skin is more sensitive, though - so you may want to do a patch test first.

My best friend is a hairdresser and she coloured her hair throughout both her pregnancies and says many women do.
Nhs website says it is probably safe. The level of chemicals would be very low. But it is persobal choice and I know many women don't colour their hair whilst pregnant xx

I did mine last week and now my hairs growing faster since being pregnant, I will more than likely do it a few more times too. I just wouldn't use a peroxide x

I dye my own and have only done it once during pregnancy - found a natural, plant based dye in Holland & Barrett and that did ok for now to cover a few greys! I usually go more extreme and have reds, purples, blues... lol
I think if it's a pro job and they don't take it all the way to the scalp, it should be ok. Personally, I didn't want to risk anything though! :)

I had my hair bleached just a few weeks ago by my hairdresser, and everything has been fine since x

I've had my hair coloured every four weeks in by first and now second pregnancy. My hairdresser said it's totally safe
