Hi girls, just had my period of 4 days but my boobs still hurt like my period is due. Usually when my period is due the tenderness in my boobs ease off on the first day of my period, but this time they are still very tender. I have finished my period and my boobs still hurt. What could the reason be for this? I have ruled out a pregnancy cause i did a test yesterday and it was negative, ( cause i know you can still bleed in a pregnancy.) it feels really strange. What im concerned about is how will i know when i ovulate this month if my boobs hurt cause thats one of the signs for me to let me know that i have ovulated. Any answers would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks girls
    All my love, Jacqui. x x x x

    Hi,

When did your period finish? Are you using OV tests at all?

Keep an eye on your CM to give you clues as to when you ovulate. Though I didn't have much last month but got a positive result on my OV test, so that's probably the best bet if you're not getting much CM to give you clues.

no I dont use the tests at all. I usually ovulate quite early, but i have had a period surely the sensations in my boobs should of disappeared when my period started, thats why im confused really.
How are you doing anyway, bet you cant wait to try again huh?
Good luck and enjoy lots and lots of love with your DH.
    All my love jacqui.

    Hi Jacqui..

    How are you these days?

Not sure about the boobs thing as I only have sore boobs a few days before AF or if I get a BFP!! They are never sore around OV time so I use the CM / temps things to check if ovulating.

To be honest I don't think I have been ovulating since my m/c as I had no CM at all for the first 2 months afterwards, this month I have been charting temps and noticed the rise on Day 13 and had a bit of CM on a couple of days before but not much so am still a bit unsure if I am fertile or not.. just have to keep trying and waiting for that BFP!!

    take care

Hi Anne Marie....always seem to think about you when i come on here. You know i read that if you go dry most of the month could mean you can be starting the menopause early lol....thats what i was worried about.
I read everything about fertility.....doesnt really help though cause i think everything in the books or on here is going on with me. i noticed i was dry half way through my cycle after ovulation and i was only a day early this time. my cycle is everywhere since my miscarriage. I check my cervix straight after my period and i finished yesterday and it is still slightly open but going softer as i usually ovulate very early. I am happy that now I can start a new month. Received some really cheap tests from www.babymad.com they are really cheap and they detect 4 days before period is due. They are worth wasting too cause they only cost £4.79p for 6 and that includes postage and packing, they do predictor kits too. they deliver the very next day.
You know i think ive got a cyst on my right ovary cause its hurting even when i move and it is very sensitive when i touch it and usually you get a huge surge of progesterone and that could be the reason why my boobs are still hurting. When you hace a cyst your body produces more progesterone. Hey we getting quite clever on here, we find so much about our bodies was thinking about becoming a nurse....lol, what are we like or me anyway. Take care hun. x

    Hey Jacqui,

yes I feel now that I have to stop reading the books and imagining symptoms etc.. everyone says.. at least you know you can concieve after my m/c etc but it seems now that I am really TTC I cannot after all.

As for the cyst.. yes I had quite obvious pains on my lower right side for a while.. quite strong sudden pains after my m/c and the post m/c scan showed 4 large cysts on right ovary which must have came up during my m/c as they had not been there at my 7 week scan 1 week before i started to bleed .. I am feeling less pain now so hoping they have gone away but they said they will rescan me in November during my next meeting with the recurrent m/c specialist.. just hope the cysts wont get in way of ttc cos so desperately want a special Xmas present... a BFP would be lovely!!!

So the Dryness is early menopause.. oh GREAT!!! I will be 37 next year so time is not on my side..
I bought a load of pregnancy tests from ebay last month.. ever hopeful... I bought 20 for £10 so I have plenty to waste too!! Just hope that one will give me some good news sometime soon.

Take care and keep in touch!

I must be going through the menopause too! I'm 30! I was dry last month which is very unusual for me. This month is looking more typical as I've just finished my AF but had creamy CM today. Hope it continues to be plentiful! (Sorry :D )

I bought 10 ovulation tests for 2.79 that was P&P included from Twinkle on Ebay. The new you is very cheap too on ebay. I've got stacks now, enough to test for a couple of months.

It's difficult to say what that could be isn't it because we're all so different. I only get tender breasts the day my AF is due and may be for a day or two after at the most.
