Had my 20-week scan!

And ladies, is it me or can you see little one's nub quite clearly?

Scan was amazing, baby is beautiful and growing very well - everything lovely and normal.

Fingers crossed that the next 20 weeks will be as happy & healthy as the last

No we're Team Yellow - a very curious Team Yellow, but still Yellow nonetheless

Well, according to this link (which says for 12 week scans so not sure how accurate...) horizontal nubs mean girls... confused.com x

Well I think it's a boy and have been convinced for a couple of weeks it's a boy! I honestly don't care as long as it's healthy - feel so blessed to have come this far x

aw Jen! can't believe that we are half way and that the next time we see them, they will be in Our arms having cuddle's with mummy.. scan is brilliant isn't it.. im just on cloud 9 at the moment, hung little mans first outfit in his wardrobe today and am now sat here watching my belly pop out where he is kicking me (must have his daddy's strong footballing legs).. well done for staying team yellow, i don't think i would of been able to.. x x x

I know hun, I can't believe it - scan was just amazing. I was nervous so lay there with my fingers literally crossed the whole time...!

Need to try and stop worrying so much now - little kicker is growing and everything seems fine and he keeps kicking away like noones business so I need to just enjoy these next 20 weeks and stop thinking something is going to go wrong! x

Good to hear everything is well, I would guess its a boy, but then who knows. I admire your patience, I wouldnt have been able not to ask, I asked at my 13+3 weeks!

I cant believe you are half way through, still remember being in tri 1 and you moving to tri2.

Yeah I think nub theory is only reliable at 12 week scan not 20 week....so that'll keep you guessing, lol. Congrats on healthy bubs anyway and well done for staying team yellow xx

They don't tell us at our hospital so there was no option to ask - we can pay £70 and go private but I'm loving the guessing and hearing what everyone thinks.

What a brilliant pic! You must be over the moon. My opinion that nub is not horizontal but at an angle so my guess boy! BUT I think the nub theory only works at 12 weeks so Cant use it!! So its just a guessing game. You are like me, Im team yellow but will scrutinise my scan to guess if Im lucky enough to get a pic like yours.... Ive till 18 April, Cant wait!!! Just enjoy hun, all is well and ur bump coming along nicely. Hey, not long till tri 3 EEK!!!

I know Tracey, Tri3 - gulp! I think at least another 8 weeks though & hopefully those weeks will be without complication - need to STOP worrying!
Your scan will be here in no time I think boy too and I read today that 70% of women who go with their instinct, get it right! X

I was team yellow right up to 27 weeks when I had complications and was facing an emergency c section so decided I wanted to know. I remember looking at my 20 week scan picture and just 'knowing' it was a boy...not cause of a nub or anything, he just looked boyish!! And I was right xx

Congrats on the scan going well jen glad everything is okay and baba is doing good! I couldn't wait to find out the sex so i admire your patience!! hehe. I know what you mean about the instinct thing, i had alot of people saying our baba would be a girl, and quite a few saying boy, i said that deep down i felt it was a girl and i was right!! xxx
