Gutted about New Years Eve

Just a moan coming on! Was so looking forward to NYE as best friend was coming over with husband and kids to stay (we don't live too close). But her LO has just started with chicken pox which I haven't had so the mini party we were having is off.

So fed up as was looking forward to cooking a big meal for us all.

Seem to have had every illness when a child apart from pox!

Rubbish!!! You need to have a fake NYE at the end of Jan instead when everyone is better...

I know jelly that's the plan. It's when you've got your heart set on an idea it's rubbish that you can't do it.

Poor OH is feeling a bit sorry for himself now thinking that I don't want to spend NYE just with him!! I do.....I would've liked to have spent it with best friend as well.

Oh well have booked a meal out in town so at least we'll get out x
