GRR at hospital

They've cancelled my scan for next week. I'm annoyed.
Admittedly it was a growth scan and I'm too early for scans like that but I was so excited that I'd be seeing my baby next week.
So I phoned Hubby, whinged to him and he said I can book a private scan so I'm having one tomorrow now

Grrrr indeed. How disappointing but Yay to you getting a private scan. Are they expensive? Oooo, can't wait to see your pics

£50 and you get a CD with still and moving images.
TBH I just want the peace of mind that everything is as it should be.
I've heard a flicker of a heartbeat but I'm really too early to be able to find it regularly.

Wow £50, I was expecting them to be more. Very tempting... I have my first MW appoint this morning, and she said she will book me in then for the scan so I will hopefully find out how much longer I will need to wait.

Did they give you a reason?

They don't perform growth scans before 24 weeks, and someone had booked it in by mistake. I'm down for growth scans after 24 weeks because my last baby was big and I had a problematic labour. my MW doesn't want me to go through the same thing again, and if it's a big baby I'm to ask the consultant to induce me around my due date, as I don't go into labour on my own.
