going for scan tomoz anyone know how long they take ? also seeing consultant and starting my weekly bp checks fingers crossed it not gone up anymore yet

No more than 5 mins for the actual scan - the longest part of ours was waiting to go in lol! After the scan you see a consultant so you might have to wait a few mins whilst they calculate the results. Hope everything goes ok :-) x

yeah I wasn't in there for long with my growth scans, they just measured the head, stomach and femur then sent me on my way! Like Tasha, I think I spent more time waiting!

you going to see your little girl???? IM SO JELAUS! i wanna know all about it :(

ask how long she is and how much she weighs

il let you know any info i find out hun im really hoping she might flash her foofi just to confirm it is a girl as it wasnt clear cant wait tho be nice to know all on track

I'm sure if you ask they'll confirm the sex for you! :-) Good luck!

Hi, my last growth scan was about 10 minutes, but that was just because he kept rechecking because my baby has a big head! Since I'm up for it on Thurs, let us know how you get on and what the docs say about your BP and all.
Good luck x

have just spent hours in clinic soooo much waiting around today i had scan took about ten mins had a mw doing it she was very good it spot on for my dates weighs 3lb 2 by measurements :) saw consultant my bp is down which is nice but will be on very regular checks now for it and am seeing a anesthatist next week for a consult ready for birth refused a csection again and said i want to try v bac and she is now happy for this as everything else going well

Fantastic news!! :D Here's hoping you get the VBAC you want hun! Waiting around for scans is a bloody nightmare though aint it?! lol x

awwwww i cant belive that our little ones are THAT HEAVY allready! wow.. Im so happy everything was as it should be! fingers crossed that you get the birth you want! :D :D

good news about the vbac! Good on you for standing your ground :)

I'm glad the scan went well, and it's good that they're monitoring your bp - I know it's a pain (I've had 2 check-ups a week for the last 6 weeks) but it's so much better knowing that you're being well looked after and anything wrong is nipped in the bud nice and quick. Here's to a healthy remainder of your pregnancy!!
