I thought it was finally time to make a parenting journal for my little rainbow

It took a few years, two miscarriages and IVF to get him and he's been worth every single second of it. I'll hopefully keep this up to date of our journey!

Grayson was born the 19th of December at 5.25am weighing 7lb 9oz, 8 days before his due date. He'll be 10 weeks old tomorrow already

He's the smiliest happiest baby, particularly in the mornings and an excellent wee sleeper. He's only ever got up twice in the night since days old and since week 8 he's been mostly sleeping through the night. We've even had a mammoth 12hour sleep!

We're still EBF and its going brilliantly, hes a little dream to feed. At 9 weeks 1 day he weighed 13lb 2oz, I still can't believe I've got such a chunky baby! He loves watching everyone and telling big stories. Our only challenge so far has been in the evenings, he's a bit colicky and can cry from 7pm to 11pm. The last few nights have been improving slightly so fingers crossed!

I weigh less than I have in years but I've joined weight watchers to get down to my ideal weight, only 8lb to go. We've booked G's christening for the 1st of April so that's my target!

Gosh doesn’t time fly when you have a little one? I forgot how much your days and weeks just disappear. My little monster is now over 15 weeks. Where on earth has the time went?

He’s such a happy smiley baby. He’s now babbling away and loves grabbing at everything - particularly my hair!! He’s still ebf and a right little chunk. I’m scared to get him weighed as I think he’ll be off the charts we’re still on dummy and bottle refusal too - its all fun and games he loves his sleep and wakes once in an 11/12 hour period. I’ve been so lucky!

I’m still ridiculously broody - how is that even possible?? Grayson is doing nothing to put me off. I really thought after him I’d be finished but he’s made me feel so blessed I just want all the babies!! We’ve agreed to look at trying around this time next year. Eek!!

We had Grayson baptised on Sunday and it was such a beautiful day. He was so good and showed me how loved he is!!

On Monday I’m taking the boys away to a caravan with my sisters and their kids for 5 days. Grayson’s first holiday. I’m so excited. Praying they both behave!

I really need to update more often. Life just whizzes by though! Here’s a few updated pictures of baby G and his christening! Xx

I know I keep saying it, but where on earth is time going? My 'tiny' baby is nearly 6 months

He's still the best little dude. So happy all the time, everyone just adores him and it makes me so proud We're still breastfeeding (and still refusing all bottles ) but thankfully he's a little dream to feed. He feeds 3 hourly pretty much on the button, the only time he moans is when that 3 hour time approaches or if he's tired. He very rarely cries. He's just a dream!

Not had him weighed in ages, but he's still massive after pressure from my mum yesterday I've agreed to get him weighed on Wednesday so I'll update then. I think he's around 18lb though 2 more weeks until weaning. I think he might blow up if I introduce food haha!

Still got a good sleeper thankfully. We went through a bit of a regression at the 4 month stage but his routine seems to be sleeping for about half 9/10, waking around 4 for a quick feed and straight back down until 7/8 - he generally takes a feed about then and goes back to sleep again. Some times he doesn't wake up until 11am He's a lazy monkey! Last night he was sound for just after 9, woke up at half 3 and back down until 7. It was great having him sleeping for 9, I felt like I really had my evening back!

Big brother Lucas is doing great with him. We're so proud how well he's adapted! He's so loving and sweet with Grayson, there's been minimal jealousy thankfully!

I'm still ridiculously broody it wont go away!! I still don't have my period back (and chances of conceiving naturally are pretty slim) but we're going to stop using contraception September time, eek! I can't believe how excited I am about it. Nothing anyone says puts me off. I'm just really worried about being so sick again but I'll be at the Dr instantly if it rears its ugly head!! I've convinced myself we'll need fertility help again but we'll give it a try naturally for 6 months first

Grayson is almost managing to roll over but not quite there. He can go from front to back though so tummy time is hard to do he may not be able to roll but he can certainly get himself about. I took his nest out his crib and put him back in to sleep. Wasn't successful at all, within minutes he'd done a 180 and was wacking his head on the crib side back in the nest he went!

I need to keep this more up to date but time just disappears. Here's some new pictures of our happy gorgeous boy xxx

He is gorgeous! He looks and sounds such a happy little boy can’t believe how quick time is going!

So exciting about trying for another! I hope you fall naturally. I’m sick again , it’s not been as bad as with my daughter as started meds early but it is very very very hard looking after her! I keep saying I will never do it again but your post has defo made me realise how much you forget it and how worth it it is! I’m sure if you start meds early it won’t be as bad for you either xxx

Grayson was 7 months on the 19th. I really feel like he'll be one before I know it. It's killing me how fast time is going!

We started weaning him on his half birthday. He's absolutely loving food, much more a savoury boy than sweet. Don't know how he's my child He's not refused anything so far, fingers crossed he keeps it up. We're still breastfeeding, he hasn't dropped any feeds so far. I had him weighed almost 2 weeks ago and he was 19lb 13.5oz. My big chunky boy!

He's on the move now too. Not quite crawling but manages to get himself anywhere he wants to be, can't take my eyes off him for a second. He's still such a happy cheeky little boy, and totally knows how adored he is. I'm going to end up spoiling him rotten

He hasn't been his little self the last week, not wanting to put food in his mouth, only wanting milk and sleeping terribly. Well this morning I found his first tooth I'm hoping that's been the cause. Now I'm absolutely dreading him biting me eek!!

Hubby has totally come round to baby number 3. We know it might never happen for us but we want to at least try. Sex isn't high on my agenda right now lol but when we do we aren't using anything I don't have my period back due to breastfeeding anyway, my chances of conceiving naturally are pretty slim so add that to no periods its probably a non-existent chance if it does happen though we'll be delighted. My best friend has just had her second round of IVF and its been successful this time. I'm so so happy for her but ridiculously broody and jealous haha!

Greyson is absolutely gorgeous! I love his smile.

I'm still breastfeeding my son at 23 months. My periods came back around 10 months in. They say as soon as your periods are back then you are fertile again and it was true for me. I know you had issues before but I have all my fingers crossed that yours is one of those stories of lovely ladies who conceived naturally after IVF.

Oh that's so good to hear. I've had 2 periods in 7 months but they aren't what I would class as 'normal'. I think I'm more worried they're like that because my egg reserve is dropping so low. I'd love to conceive naturally but telling myself we won't so I don't get my hopes up. We have 5 frozen embryos so I feel incredibly lucky we still have options! xx

Grayson will be 8 months tomorrow I’ve never known my life to go so fast. He’s just the best baby still. He’s been crawling for 3 weeks now and he’s into everything I forgot how knackering this stage is. Can’t turn my back for a second, he’s such a cheeky boy! He has 2 teeth now and cutting a third. He’s eating like a little champ, loves all his food and still breastfeeding although he’s cut a feed down during the day. I’ve been bit a few times. Least fun part of breastfeeding

So this month I ovulated for the first time. We aren’t trying yet but I’m so pleased my cycles are possibly returning to normal! We’re thinking of November time but I’m going to keep tracking my cycle until then.
