Ok, so I finally plucked up courage today and I got a positive test. Got docs appointment for next Thursday. I just feel so anxious because of my symptoms. I'm a first timer! So, here are my symptoms:-
Extreme tiredness, dizzy like you wouldn't believe, backache, headache, diahorrea (only slight), my stomach feels like its gonna explode - I'm not thin lol so I can't really say I've put on weight but from underneath my boobs there's a proper hard tyre now, then my flabby tummy as normal lol, my sense of smell is through the roof. The thing that really worries me is the stomach ache, its pretty much constant, exactly the same as period pains - to the point that everytime I go to the loo I'm sure I'm gonna have started my period.
Are these symptoms normal - especially the stomach aches?

Any help, comparitive symptoms would be greatly appreciated

hey hun

congratulations on the bfp!! the priod like pains is exactly what im getting today and keep expecting af to arrive but i found this on pregnancycountdown.com so hopefully will put ur mind at rest a bit....

Symptom Details

Some women describe the cramps they experience in early pregnancy as mild cramps or dull pressure low in the abdomen. Cramps in early pregnancy are not only common but very normal. There are a tremendous number of changes occurring in your body so cramping is to be expected. Some women feel cramping as early as implantation when the embryo attaches itself to the uterus (6-12 days after ovulation). Cramps are also described as feeling like PMS or period cramps, quick sharp pains, pinching/pulling or little twinges like pokes, tingles or bubbles.

hope it helps.

Thanks hun, that's really good to read :)
According to my dates I will be 7 weeks this coming Saturday. Last week my stomach was gurgling like mad :) The period style pains are really worrying me but I've had no spotting so I guess thats good. Can't wait til I've seen the doc. x
