After having a tricky birth with my first in 2008 as a result of him being in a posteiror position I am really starting to think about trying to get this baby into a good position to give me the best chance of getting my VBAC.

Have been looking on the spinning babies site about exercises and positions that can help.

Just wondered if you know what position your baby is in and if you are doing anything to try get/maintain a good position???

I think my LO is currently in LOP (left occ Posterior) as I generally get kicks under my ribs on the right but have to apply quite a bit of pressure in order to be able to feel her back on my left side, also feeling some small squiggly movements pretty centrally just above my pubic bone so guessing she is facing forwards and what I can feel are hands! Really want to get an anterior position (with her facing my back)

Any suggestions!!!!!!!!

I think mine is in the exact same position! I am just bouncing on my ball, nothing else. Im reckoning on baby turning in labour xx

Apparently its just as important for them to be in the right position as well as head down!!! :oooo:
i didn't realise this with previous pregnancies!
That is a great website. i'm going to try some of their advice over the next few weeks.

My DS was posterior and he turned during labour... Ths baby is posterior too at the moment. I've been told hands and knees... oh isn't that convenient  If you have a fit ball, lean over it on your knees if you're watching TV in the evenings.

Don't lean back and recline in chairs - this encourages baby to be posterior.... um scrub the floors was another I was suggested :)

I've done it a bit but bubs still seems to be in the same position. Have a MW appointment on Thursday so we'll see what she says....

Good luck turning bub!

Wish I had some advice - due date buddy! But I'm not too sure - but didn't want to read & run!! I think I might invest in a birthing ball - they sound fab! I hope you can get your baby in the right position, thinking of you sweetie xxx
