Gave myself a scare

Managed to shake myself up this afternoon!...

Our driveway is a lot higher than next doors so on one side of it there's a 7ft drop to the next house's drive which has no wall or anything iykwim? OH had parked my car really close to that edge so he could fit his van on next to it, so when i went out to get in today my door was right by the edge, didn't realize how slippy it was since it's raining and fell over. Somehow managed to grab the car door but could have so easily fallen over onto nextdoors drive.

I sat on the wet ground to worried to get up incase i slipped back over and shouted OH, crying my eyes out bet he thought i was a right wimp! Once he'd helped me up i went mental at him for parking so bloody close. Think he felt guilty cause he went to town which is where i was headed to get some bits, and bought me some flowers.

Safe to say it petrified me and has reminded me how fragile our LO's our in there! In that split second things could have changed completely! OH just keeps saying but it's fine because you didn't fall and baby is fine because he's still kicking, which i understand but it just made me think..

Sorry for that little moan just figure if OH doesn't understand why it scared me you ladies would please tell me i'm not being completely hormonal and irrational ? Can't wait to have my baby safe in my arms where i can protect him!

Hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday weekend! Think we're going to go out for dinner and to see 'what to expect when your expecting' to cheer me up

Men they don't really get it.... My oh left the other day a saw in the middle of the hallway... I tripped and landed like 1 cm away from that.... I was inconsolable for hours and I screamed so much at him that I eventually felt sorry lol...

Omg that would be so frightening!! I'd have been the same as u!

A few weeks ago me and hubby were messing around play fighting, and he pretended to punch my tummy, he stopped mid air no where near my bump but it scared the shit outta me and I went mental at him!! He didn't understand why cuz he was like 'of course I'd never punch u' - but that wasn't the point, 1 wrong move or slip up could have been catastrophic and that's all it takes. Xx
