Galloping horse or Choo-Choo train...........

Apparently you can tell the sex of a baby by the sound of the heart beat, I also heard this when pg with Jack.

When I told my midwife the sonographer wouldn't tell me the sex she was really surprised! then she said about this theory. Anyone used this theory and its been right?

I think it sounded like a galloping horse!!!!! Apparently that's a girl! - not gonna get my hopes up though!!!

Mine sounds very much like a train. Even said to my huby when we first found heartbeat with doppler that I thought it was supposed to sound like galloping horses. I'll find out in a couple of weeks but I think I'm having a boy.

Oddly at my last midwife appointment, while listening to the heartbeat she asked did we know the sex

Mine sounds like a train although it did sound a bit like a train the other day and I was convinced there was a hidden twin in there!

Oooh didn't read this post when I made mine - seeing midwife tomorrow so will pester her to listen and tell me!!!

Just soooooooooooo excited, my sis thinks is a girl too from looking at our scan pic.

I can't wait for tomorrow - can't possibly do any work today now!!!!

At my 14 week appointment today the midwife listened for the heart beat and she said "it sounds like galloping horses or a train doesnt it" and I said what one do you think its more like....we had listened to it before and we both said horses and the midwife said a horse too.........oooooooo!

Have to just see.

Had my m/w appt yesterday, heartbeat sounded like a galloping horse to me!

But I dunno if thats cos I read this thread yesterday and had it in my head already. But it didn't really sound much like a train - I'm thinking ivor the engine kinda noise?

Anyway, it wasn't my usual m/w, so she was a bit of a misery guts so made no comment on it - even when I asked

Dunno if I can wait til mid April to find out on my 21wk scan!
