My 1 week old is being breastfed and generally doing OK but today she has been really unsettled and fussy when feeding and had 2 nappies that are no longer yellow but have dark greenish black flecks in and quite runny,
I am waiting for the midwife to ring me back but wondering if anyone thinks this is something to be worried about?

Thanks!

Have you eaten anything strange that could have effected your breastmilk?

I dont think so, how soon after eating anything would it end up in my milk do you think?

Thanks for the link KJL, I didnt find that one on my search yeaterday!

the midwife phoned me back this morning and said it was probably something I ate, and everything looks back to normal this morning,

I do feel a bit of a neurotic mother now...

Don't worry you'll notice the poos changing more depending on what you eat too...I found I really had to avoid "windy" foods like sprouts and brocolli etc otherwise Brody's poo went greenish and he got awful wind.
