Fundal height

What is the rule on fundal height.

I have just measured and I'm measuring at 21 weeks. The thing is I am 23+2 is this within the normal range? Obviously nothing knows as well as a USS but I am curious to know xx

+/- 2 cm each side is normal

Why r u measuring yourself so early on?

Most MWs don't even start measuring until your 28 weeks...

Like Babyslog says, midwives don't tend to measure til 28 weeks, before then I don't think it's accurate x

I agree that midwives don't measure until 28 weeks for a reason - please don't stress yourself out by worrying about the measurement at 23 weeks. Pregnancy is stressful enough! x

Even when my midwife started measuring me at 28 weeks, she warned me it isn't very precise - just a guide.

I measured 36 weeks at 30 weeks... I'd say pay no attention! If they're worried they'll send you for a scan to check bubba
