Maybe this little extract from the newsletter will help as a motivator if you need to give up;

DID YOU KNOW?

Exposure to passive smoking can affect your baby's ability to learn later on. Even small amounts of tobacco smoke have been linked to lower test results in reading and writing

no offense but i really don't believe it!!!!
nevertheless it's nice to know they invent new things each day to encourage us to stop..! good old scientists hehe
 
erm... well i used to smoke over 20 a day, did during first month of pregnancy because i didn't know about it and then cut back in a major fashion when i found out. i can manage well on 2 or 3 a week now, but still can't fully quit

i come from france though, which is 'fag country' and there don't seem to be learning probs there..
i can totally see what point scientists are making, with lack of oxygen leeding to lack of blood in the brain and all but i just think it's another of these stories.
am i just being silly? :wink:
