Agghhhh! Hideous night of 'sleep' as kept waking up sweaty and had to keep resettung fan as it was on a, timer. Should have put it on permanently but I didn't think of it and it was dark. :-/

Then up mega early with my step kifs so we could do a car boot. We REALLY need the money as I'm massively in my overdraft and won't get paid enough to cover it, let alone bills. So every car boot helps a bit. The f-ing bongo (camper van) wouldn't start. It's had problems lately but passed MOT and now we think it's the head gasket which is £1200+ to fix.

So no car boot and no camper van as we can't afford to fix it. It's worth about £3k so it's too expensive to write off. Will just have it on the driveway now for the foreseeable future. :'(

I'm just so, so, gutted. We love that van and it's our only prospect of a holiday next year. So that's the end of that unless we win the lottery!

Why can't things just go right for once? I'm so bloody sick of being poor and it's my own fault for doing a degree and picking a career I love as opposed to sticking with money.

I'm just so pissed off with everything now :'(
Back to work tomorrow after over a week off, it's going to kill me.

Lying on the bed crying. :'(

Aw hun ; ( hate when things go wrong at once!
Im so tired with travelling. Train and tube and ealking every other day after a full day work in the heat to chelsea and westminster to see my num whos had a cancer op!. Killing me but got to be done!!
We went zoo yest and the ealking through regents park to zoo and then round zoo has killed me too! Argh. Work again tommo but we finnish not this fri but next so counting down! Things get better slowly. Xx

I just. Wanted to send.u a really big.hug..........things.seem.so much worse when your hot tired pregnant and hormonal.
I think your amazing for following your dream and doing a degree hun.
Things can change so quickly so dont worry about next year's holiday u will find a way u watch.
Do u have anyone who can do the work cheaper??
My friend collects the tokens from the sun newspaper for the caravan holidays they have a great time no doubt we will be doing them once bubs is here.

Things.will.improve these rough times make us.so much stronger. I have had my fair share.at moment focus on how lucky we are to have healthy moo.and squiggles and we.will meet them very soon.
I know u not looking forward to.work I feel for u there.i am struggling so much with sleeping. And walking I couldn't. Commute to london now.

Ah umbongo I really feel for you , its so horrible when you can't see over the hill. I know you'd hate to but could you not sell the campervn if you could get a really good price for it? I know they're in demand, or is it your only mode of transport? You could maybe look into buying another one next year when cash may be better?

You've done the right thing following your heart, I wish I could do that I think I might go back to work for the 3 months I need to but while I'm off I'm going to look into a change in career. You're doing the right thing xx

Thanks lovelies. Did some baking with my step daughter which cheered me up.

It's not worth anything while it doesn't work so selling not really an option! Plus we'd never be able to by another one as I can't afford childcare so not going back to work so we'll be worse off next year not better. We used our savings to buy it last year. Sensible? No, but had the best ever holiday in September in France in it.

Will just keep it on.a SORN and pray we can somehow afford to get it fixed next year. They are grey imports so you can't fix it on the cheap as need a specialist. It's all a bit shit but nothing we can do about it. Damn vehicles!!!

Squiggle seems ok. I just hope work is better than I expect!!! 12 days to go...

Got to spend the week studying and cleaning as it's my baby shower on Saturday! Xx

Aw Bex sorry to hear ur having a bad time. It all just gets too much sometimes doesn't it. I think having a good cry can help. I been doing alot of that lately.

Could u not sell the car cheaper coz work needs doing on it and at least u wont have to pay out for it ? x

Bless u. Big hugs it's not easy being pregnant without other worrys to add. I'm told you find a way for anything you want to do in life even when there is no money spare. We went on a "free" holiday to France staying in a friends place there and so much went wrong including me breaking the safe paying 500 euros to fix it and then having to rebook the flights because missed them home n travel inside didn't cover it we then had to cancel another mini break away because of money then a friend found an amazing deal on a self catering apartment and another friend found us flights and for 250 pounds both hubby and I managed to go inc food and accomodation and flights for the week on a late deal we had a lovely time in Portugal on the beach and at apartment with good freinds and their children we split the apartment costs and I honestly think it was far better than any package deal or posh hol we couldv done it was just what we needed! Even if 250 worked out too much you can do the sun tokens for 7.50 do a UK caravan break and those are really good n nice friends have done them before and said they are fab. So don't rule out holidays due to just money you might find you can do something from home charitys pay low wages to do cold calling type stuff from home or Avon or catalouge distribution too there are other ways to make a bit of spare casif you are crafty you can do thinks to sell on eBay and etsy too. Don't forget u can have an awesome day out by making a home made picnic and taking little one to the local park or to feed the ducks if you have a canal or river near by it won't all be doom and gloom. I'm feeling very uncomfy today and have had crying days and worry days over money too my car needs suspension sorting and I could do with a lotto win too to sort out debt. Well done you for following your dream I'm in a well paid job but I now find I'm struggling to move back closer to family n freinds as I don't want to give up the money oppertunity don't get me wrong I do like my job but there are things I'd prefer to do x
