Does anyone know what the maximum time a child can spend in a forward facing car seat before they need to take a break? Is it the same as rear facing (2 hours) or would be it slightly longer as they are in a different position?

Thank you!

How old is the child? Rear facing is recommended as long as possible. The time they are in it wouldn't be any different by the time they are old/heavy/tall enough to front face.

So once they out grow their rear facing seat and go into the next size they can still only be in it for 2 hours before needing a half hour break?

At 4 years old (when ff is suitable over rf) it wouldn't be different to an adult.

I suggest if you are on facebook you join the Car seat advice for mummies and daddies page as they are up to date with all the latest info.
