Follicle size

Hi! I’m having my my first cycle of clomid (50mg) and had a scan today day 11 my dominant follicle is only 11mm. I’ve got another scan in 5 days to see if it grows.

does anyone know if this is me out this cycle??

Sorry, I have no idea! I conceived on clomid but on 100mg but my specialised took a blood sample every month to see if I had ovulated or not. Never heard of them doing scans, hopefully someone can advise you xxx

Hello follicle sizes vary they grow 1mm a day on average, so depends the length of your cycle. I had one at 11mm on day 11 and then went back 5 days later and it was 18mm and i concieved from that one follicle.

That’s great to know! My cycles are so irregular so I have no idea... although they are never usually less than 30/35 days
