we're going on a family vacation to the carribean and I was wondering if I need to take her car seat with us on the plane or not? also we are getting a shuttle to the hotel (approximately 20 min from airport). I'm not sure what to do here either. I know the safety precautions, just wondering which way those of you who flew with 2yos went?

I don’t think you’ll need a car seat. If you have purchased a seat for your 2 year old then she will be just fine sitting on the plane seat.

I'm a flight attendant and the company I work for allows car seats in the plane as long as it can be fastened to the seat and it has a 3-point internal shoulder harnass for the child. But as all airlines have different rules, you should go check their website.x
