Hi Ladies
Im slightly worried, the end of last week when my OH and me were being careful i took fluconazole to treat suspected thrush, ive just been looking and it advises you not to take it when you are trying to get pregnant. Does anyone know what happens when you do take it? x x

Yeah m2a I would try not to worry often there's a minuscule chance of having problems but they have to put it on the pack! Sorry I don't know the answer but try not to worry xx

Umm honestly? It's pretty bad.

Please don't take any more of the stuff.

There are plenty of cases of nastyness from taking Fluconazole for any duration during pregnancy.

None that are for a couple of doses though, so i still wouldn't worry but defiantely no more :oooo:

Started googling again, but this time it made me feel better :)
It said there was no evidence showing short term use (im taking this as one off doses) causes any problems, problems have been known to happen when its used often. Phew x x

Hey hon sorry I have no info on the effects - all I know is when I took a tablet for thrush recently the pharmacist asked if I was pregnant so there must be some reason you can't take them. How long in between taking the tablet did you BD? I shouldn't think it would stay in your system very long. Think of all the ladies out there that fall pregnant without knowing it - I've heard stories of girls smoking/drinking the lot then finding out they are pregnant. Try not to worry x x

Try not to worry too much i'm sure it will be ok!

xx
