First period after Mc

Hey everyone.

First visit back on the forum after my Mc at the beginning of September.

I started spotting on Tuesday, pretty much 4 weeks to the day that the Mc bleeding stopped, but it's really light and it hasn't changed. After my last scan the epu said my lining was still thick and to expect a heavy period, but it doesn't seem to be coming. I keep getting cramps and feelings like it is but when I go to the loo there is hardly anything.

Anyone else have a first period like this? I'm wondering if I didn't ovulate so my lining isn't coming away as it should, and worrying that it will happen next month, when I'm away with work when I'd be due on.

After my mc it was a long wait until I had a period. If I remember correctly it was 5/6 weeks, my cycles are generally every 28 days so a long time compared. After that though they returned back to normal until my next pregnancy (now have my gorgeous 7 month old son!!).

I’ve just had my 3rd period after my MMC.
Month 1 seemed normal
Month 2 was so light I didn’t think I’d had a period, just spotting.
Month 3 back to normal.

Don’t worry our bodies adjust and it takes time. You need to get a few cycles out the way and then it regulates.
