first midwife appointment

so i have just rang the doctor s to see when i should make an appointment to see the midwife and they have booked me in for next week! I did tell them i have only just found out, i will only be 5 1/2 weeks that seems very early doesn't it?! X

With my daughter I seen midwife at 6 weeks she said it s was just because they had a free slot x

I had my first midwife appointment at 6 and a half weeks and was greeted by a vey abrupt midwife who said I was booked in far to early. She saw me again at 9 and a half weeks and was much better with me. All you can do is do what you are told by your GP. I hope yours is nice than mine was the first time around x

I'm 7 and my midwife won't see me till 10 weeks

Wow that does seem early I didn't see my midwife until I was 11+4 xx

well at Christmas when i got my bfp and rang the doctors i was told either 8 or 10 weeks, cant remember which to see the midwife.oh great knowing my doctors the receptionist has made a balls up and i too shall be greeted by a grumpy midwife! X

I had my app fri past. The receptionist asked how fair I was on b4 she gave me an app.
Maybe just ring back an double check.
Nothing worse than having ur md being dismissive.
