First cold sore ever and in pregnancy

Hiya. I am 39 weeks on Tuesday and have a cold sore on upper lip. Baby moving and doctor didn't seem worried.
I know about dangers after born, but can it hurt the baby whilst I am pregnant?

I Think you should ask your midwife coz I thought new herpes infection at end of pregnancy did have risks . What awful timing !! I want to somehow tactfully ask all visitors with cold sores not to visit the baby !
