What a great Oh you have wanting to go...I think mine went cos he felt obliged. If I'd have said I didn't want to I think he'd have been secrectly releaved!!lol

Hope you enjoy it in the end! :D

Hope you have lots of fun.

I know my OH wanted to go, but i never saw the pint seem as i never went first time.

Hope you enjoyed it in the end and its great you OH has taken such an interest
mine started off interested then sat doodling very good pictures of soliders on his note pad while at first class  :shakehead: :rotfl:

We're on our second.... the first one was a bit useless, everyone just getting to know each other..... we both agreed the most recent one was useful as it told us all about labour and pain relief.... next week we get a tour of the unit, so that should be useful too...

just the same as last time, same video same excercises but loads of people had to leave as they were near fainting in the heat, i really wanted to leave to but my fella made me stay to the end lol...

I had my first antenatel class this week too, i was also pretty disappointed, it was on labour and pain releif but it hardly expalined much, just the stages and when to go to hospital.

She mentioned pain relief but she was possitive about it all and didnt really mention much risks or things or how affective each was. She also simply said "theres arnica which you can take as tablets or cream, and rasberry leaf tea dont take it until 37 weeks" i was like GREAT so much info in there!!!

There was no mention of tearing even though a huge percentage of us sat in that room will end up with one and only one lady had had a baby before!!

My hospital also doesnt do tours, you get a video which didnt even show the rooms, TBH i was so glad i'd been up there when i was 25 weeks, turns out the room i was in was the only birthing pool in the hospital (well if thay shoved me in there at 25 weeks it cant be used too much). All the video seemed to show is what we should wait for before we come in to hospital.

My newborn is next week so hopefully that will be more interesting!!!

ive already started takin raspberry leaf, im near 35 weeks...
