Just wondering if anyone has had pains in their fingers I get it late and night mainly in the index fingers and I struggle to open and close my hand its so painful.:shakehead:

Nope but I get painful pins and needles and numbness in my right leg apparently it's baby lying on the sciatic nerve. xXx

Im just in here gatecrashing Tri 3!

Ive been losing complete feeling in my hands and fingers during the night, and im not sure whether to mention it to the midwife. Im not lying on it or anything, but ive always had poor circulation and cold hands and feet, just this is a bit more severe, and more localised.
x

You should mention it to ur MW sometimes they can recommend certain meds or heat pads or summat lol. xx

Sounds a bit like carpal tunnel in ur hands xx

ive had this for 7 weeks now and finally got an appointment on friday for the physio. It sounds the same as what ive got and it is carpal tunnel. She gave me a support brace to wear in bed and also during the day to keep my wrist straight. It will ease off once youve had baby although might not go straigh away as my friend still has it 4 weeks on after birth but it has got a lot better.
In the mean time while you may have to wait to see about it, sometimes putting a cold cloth over your wrist can help the tunnel artery reduce in size. Mine has been constant and has never went away even for a minute and even tho its not painful as such it is annoying and i keep dropping stuff and struggle to do up buttons and my bra and stuff!

Thanks will try that tonight its ridiculous not being able to bend my fingers as I forget when I have an itch and end up screaming as my fingers are so stiff!:wall2:
