I have managed to (touch wood) get Emily into her cot during the day at the same times :-) it is only the 2nd day to be fair but she's taken so well to it! I tried a few weeks ago and she just screamed straight away so it's all good.

She has been going down for about an hour and a half in the morn at 9.30 and an hour in the afternoon (now).

How long does your LO sleep for?

:yay: She'll start recognising that it's more comfy in there! Ross can sleep anytime from 30 minutes to 3 hours!

Fab news! I need to get on this too, zac will only sleep in my arms in the day, how did u manage it? X

Paige still sleeps around every hour and a half for 30 minutes or up to 2 1/2 hours  She still sleeps through the night as well. I think I have a very sleepy baby lol.

:yay: for Emily sleeping in her cot! I got Paige doing this about a month or 2 ago, and it was the best thing I did. Takes them a while to take to it though lol. I could never have set times for her though, as she gets too tired too quickly.

I have had no problems getting her into it this time! She has just taken to it!

Zazu, as long as he is tired, just put him down and persevere! Don't lift him, just let him cry. I know it sounds cruel but it's the best way. He will eventually give in and go to sleep. My HV said if the crying continued to just go in every 2 mins and say "night night" or whatever you say to him and just keep doing that.

It's the best thing we have ever done getting her into her cot during the day :-) she is a much happier baby for it too, because she has uninterrupted sleep!

Let me know how you get on!!! Xxxx

Thanks Erin, I'll give it a go tomorrow. I have got it sorted at bedtime, just need to get the day naps done now! X

I put him in his cot for a nap 20 mins ago, he whined for about 5mins and went to sleep, woo hoo! Thanks for the advice, let's hope he keeps it up! Is Emily still having her naps in her cot ok? X

How weird, I was just about to post and ask how it was going! Well done! It makes such a difference, for them because they get uninterrupted sleep and for you because you get a bit of time to yourself :-)

Emily is in her cot now and has been since 9.20! Since Wednesday when I started she has gone down no problem. When I start walking upstairs and singing to her she smiles like mad because she knows she is going for a nap. X

He did an hour and a half and I have a tidy house! I'm made up x
